Wow! Some fantastic art on these pages!

Paul - your C2E2 art is amazing.

Fred - Love the Pelletier pages. It's cool to see his pencils for Hulk.

Jason - Enjoy the FCBD art. I'd love to get something from Sprouse one day.

Lloyd  - I always think of Saviuk as a Marvel guy, so it's interesting to see his take on DC characters. Very nice!

I'm not sure I'd care about any free comics if Darwyn Cooke was at my local comic store....

That's so cool.

Very cool, Michael! The Cooke piece is wonderful. I really like the Faith Erin Hicks Supergirl piece.

Darwyn was drawing for the kids, but he did give the old man a copy of the trade for Batman : Ego.  He had a box of comps that he wanted to give away, so that's how he did it.  The kids got the drawings, the older "kids" got the books.

On FCBD, we had a blind sketch card benefit for the Hero Initiative at Westfield Comics. A number of local artists did sketch cards and they were placed face down on a table. For a donation to Hero, you could choose a card at random. Lots of great art and lots of money raised for a good cause. Here's what I managed to turn up. First, a very moody Conan by Nick Choles.

Next, a nice Jeff Butler Captain America.
