If I remember correctly, in the preceding page Clark's coat and shirt were shredded when he did something super, and Lois was helping to cover for him.

Bill Rauup, I'm not a big Dan Fraga fan but I give him credit for giving you 110% on your cool commission idea.  His contribution is by far the most polished of the 6 cards done so far.  Sort of ironic considering the stigma attached to the company he worked for.

Donna Barr - The Desert Peach & Udo, Norwescon 1989

Short backstory on this one - Unlike the previous autograph sketches which were mainly "artist's choice", Donna asked me what wacky thing I would want to see the Erwin Rommel's (fictional) half-brother & his aide doing, and the first thing off the top of my head was: "Kidnapping Bob Hope."
