That is extremely awesome, Jodi. While you didn't get to be at Mania you were clearly there in spirit.

Seeing the Batman model kit upthread made me search for the kit, and found these customizations:

So, not wanting to start a new thread for this I'll post it here. My wife wanted to re-paint a chair for our Play/family room using cool/fun colors, when my girls pointed out to her that she painted the chair in Galactus colors she looked at me and said "Great! Now you have me doing it!"....

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to paint the dining room chairs in Galactus colors rather than the play room chairs??

Great pics, Bill!!  Good to see you are infecting your family with your passion for Galactus.

Finally assembled my B9Creator DIY 3D printer. Here are my first prints at 75 microns (equivalent to 338 dpi):

With the original red resin, it is difficult to see surface details so I added a black and white version. We can see some banding but, hopefully, the latest upgrades to the machine will eliminate them. New resins will also help printing at 50 micron resolution (equivalent to 508 dpi).

3D printing is quite fascinating.  When the prices come down, one will definitely be in my future.

Yes, 3D printers are still expensive. However, there are now some quite capable desktop DIY models costing about 2k-3k compared to multiple of 10k for professional ones. That is about the price of a gaming computer or 10 Bowen statues :)

Of course, those machines, such as the B9Creator, have to be assembled, calibrated and so on... There are more user friendly models such as the Form 1 but its minimum feature size is 300 microns which is too big for my purposes.

And here is a profil view of the heads:
