From the title, I thought this might be The Fly. I was scratching my head
thinking "who would want a commission of that?"

••

There's another Fly, you know. Created by Simon and Kirby. And an old fave
of mine.

I have no idea who this character is, but this is certainly a creepy commission!

I'm not certain about The Fly's fighting style, but something is appealing about a leprechaun manually running a robotic chimney-destruction team.

Andrew here you go...

"The Creature called Swarm!" Part 1 of 2. Story by Bill Mantlo. Art by John Byrne and Mike Esposito. Introducing the menace of Swarm (1st appearance)! Can the Champions hope to defeat a fiend who can control the stings of millions of bees? What is this mysterious villain after, and what does it mean for the future of mankind? Meanwhile, Hercules and Ice Man are attacked by the Champions' headquarter's own defenses? Plus, the team says goodbye to one of their own. NOTE: Swarm made a memorable appearance in the "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" Saturday morning cartoon a few years after the release of this issue. - Odinson, Lone Star Comics.

Yet another perfect commission for Clint. This could be the finest commission of 09. (Replacing Clint's last commission.)

If Clint will forgive me -- I hope not! There's a lot of the year left!

eez, have the bad guys ALWAYS been purple and green?

Used to be a "rule" -- good guys wear primaries, bad guys wear
secondaries, civilians wear tertiaries.

I'm sure Clint himself will be giving you a few more times to top yourself this year!

That has the "advantage" of making it easier for the Impossible Man to imitate them and fool people!
