Really cool treasures, JB. Glad you have them and their associated memories.

Congrats to your brother and his wife Ted.

Observing today the first anniversary of his lordship's death.

Remember when a year was a long time?

I dread the day I will lose a parent.

Then again, it is a startling sign of the advances in health, medicine and of our overall well-being, that more and more this is a circumstance we get to face in later years.

For instance, my Ex, who turned 40 this year, still has her maternal grandparents (!), fast approaching 100.

A year already?  Time sure does fly.

I hope you have a good day of remembrance, JB.

JB: Remember when a year was a long time?

I remember summer vacations seemed to go on forever, now, a year is gone in the blink of an eye.

Like Tim, I hope you have a good day JB.

A year? Really? Doesn't seem so.

Sheesh, seems that a year is diminutised by experience. I guess there's just much more room with which to rattle lengths of time around by their clock-hands with perspective.
