I was wondering how long it'd take for this thread to get bumped...

The Big Blue Cheese (Superman) laying a blow to Darkseid's Number One Son (Kalibak).

Hi guys, it's been a while. Fine colour work on this page, gents - JT, what's the skinny with this project of yours? You have an eye to publishing, or are you just getting the story down and seeing what happens?

Great story - I got a portfolio review from Joe Kubert (!) at our annual culture con a couple of weeks back. What an absolute gentleman, he was happy to talk for as long as you wanted, took the time to go through the stuff I'd put together and gave a very nice, balanced critique. I was pretty happy to say the least when he held his thumb and forefinger about an inch apart and said "you're that close."

So, I finished my Conan piece. On Joe's advice, I've started using a brush (#2 red sable) and India ink for finishes. Whole different technique, but I like my first serious try. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome, Mal!

The Sapphire Spectre is a project I really believe in. I'm trying to get it all done before I think of getting it out there in some way. Not quite sure how I'd go about it just yet.
