I like Sebastian Roy's version of Rocket Raccoon and Groot.  I prefer this cartoon version as opposed to the more sinister looking one in the movie.

I wish Sebastian Roy were drawing the Guardian of the Galaxy comics.  I prefer his version of the characters...which reflect a more friendly cartoony vibe...than the edgy dark version Marvel currently publishes.  The comics of today take themselves too seriously. I like the Marvel of the 70's and 80's when comics were comics and not a story board or inspiration for the next "big" Marvel movie.  I still watch the Marvel movies, however I can't relate to the comics anymore.

This is my 100th post! ...and my favorite section of this web site.  The fan art is much more interesting than the art that passes for "professional" comics any day!

There was this Magic the Gathering card I liked.  I decided to see if I could paint the image in Acrylics.

Could not have Ms Van Dyne without Dr Pym, could we?
One of my favorite superheroes from Marvel during my childhood.
