Darren, those character sketches are aces! Well done!
I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing here. A group of friends sent out the call for a Legionnaire sketch of Steve Lightle's "Tellus." I've been away from the drawing board for awhile, so I thought I'd give it go.

From series which never made the airwaves in America, one of the female leads from a series roughly translated as "Those Obnoxious Aliens". (The literal translation would be "The Troublesome Gang from the Star Uru"... Urusei Yatsura.)
A tragic supporting character who makes her appearance late in the Japanese sleeper hit Mobile Suit Grunam. This finally saw airplay on the Cartoon Network cable station around 2004.

I'm going to draw a page from start to finish. I don't ever do that. I only have some pencils done though but wanted to post "something" for fun. I plan to ink in Manga Studio and draw the whole background digitally too.
For the ship I modeled an approximation of the IXS Enterprise (the new NASA Warp ship concept) and placed that model on the page and drew on top of that.
