After a bit of Namor web searching, I find myself more than a little disappointed with the MCU plans for handling him. A great, complex hero/villain like his deserves less tinkering, IMO.

It was a long time ago, so hard to say 100%, but almost definitely not gouache. I think the colour part was a heavily-loaded brush with watercolours and then probably india ink for the black parts of the jacket.
