The tools thread brought up the whole brush vs. nib inking question. I've futzed with using the two together in different ways over the years, but I've particularly enjoyed using them 'against' each other as a way to convey different levels of reality or POVs on a single page. Here's a couple from waaaaayyyyy back in the mid-90's: 


Obviously that second one is also really pushing the styles as far apart as possible, and the brush vs. nib is more of a bow tied on that than the whole show.

In case it's not clear, on both pages, the narrator is solely nib inking, while the story panels are all brush.
