Guys, I just had a chance to view all of the artwork recently posted; couldn't see them earlier as I was posting in between breaks today.

Anthony...doooooooood!!!  You brought a big smile to my face with your sketch of my Fly design!  At first I thought, "That's kinda cool; what character is it?"  Then I thought, "Hmmmm, that looks kinda familiar..."  THEN, it hit me and I broke out in a big smile.  Thanks man, that was very, very cool!

Re a studio...I have no idea for a name, but it would be cool if we could do some kind of a group project and post it up.  Those things are hard to pull off, coordinating everyone's schedules and getting together a story and whatnot...but I think it would be fun to try sometime for the Fan Fic section.  We've got Mike O'Brien who can write, several pencilers, a few inkers, some colorists...hmmmm...

And I certainly agree with the sentiment that there is an awful lot of talent here, no b.s.  It's inspirational to see everyone's stuff posted; makes me want to do something equally strong to keep up.

Vlad, that Aquaman was bad-assed!  I'd like to see your inks on something of mine someday.

Is it OK to post work that's not yours? Here's a piece by my artist on GROUNDED ANGEL that I'm particularly proud of. The artist's name is Vivi Erlanita.

I'm game, so long as it's not an "exclusive" deal-LOL. As for suggestions, I might have hoped something that hinted to our JB connection and origin.

Darren, how do you feel about inking six issueson spec.?
I'm committed to them(no pay) but i feel strongly about the
material. We could see a good penny on the back end.
Heres the link.
The writer has given me layouts.
Check it out and tell me what you think.

Sure, why not. I'm tying up a few loose ends at my side but I'm sure I'll be able to schedule some time for this.

Here's a couple of pics I did years ago. The Superman figure I inked myself, using a Windsor-Newton brush (also the rocks). Mark Heike did the background.

Hawkman was inked by Rich Faber.

I'll see if I can dig up any X-O Manowar stuff from my days at Valiant...

Rik! Are you working in comics right now? If not, you should be. Let's work on an Image pitch together! I've got a great idea and need an artist to make it work! smashoutgames@yahoo.com is my e-mail.
