I mentioned before that Ziggy Pig made a number of comic appearances, and it seems the same is true for Super Rabbit and the other Timely Comics cartoon animals. Crazy to see so many spin-off titles featuring that gang!

This appears to be #14 on the chart I made of cover fragments. It matches up to some of the visible elements pretty well, but I am not 100% certain about it. The month/year would be within the right range, too.

FULL-SIZE picture: HERE!
Well, at least as far as the comics covers, I think I have taken it as far as i can. There is at least one comic cover on the floor level I can't identify, and a few hidden in the back rows. If anyone else still wants to try and figure out what is left, please do so.
Also, if anyone finds anymore of the romance, westerns, and other pulp covers, feel free to share those, too. There were at least a couple I did identify by name, but I couldn't find a cover image online.
Otherwise, I think this is the most complete the picture will get as far as finding the covers in the photo.
Thanks for everyone who contributed in locating and posting the covers!!

I think the next challenge should be to see if we can find digital copies of these comics and magazines. We could put them in a shared folder. After looking at these covers, I want to read all of them.

That site you shared before, Neil, has a good amount of scanned comics from the Golden-Age (including some of the comics in this thread):
Comic Books Plus
Thanks for sharing it, by the way. I had been on the site years ago, but forgot about it.

WOW! It's been a year since I last looked for more magazines and comics in the picture of the 1945 comics display! Well, I found three more, so far (and almost four, but one of the astrology books had the same cover design, but was a later year). Here are my new finds...
Here is what the picture of the bookstore display looks like with all the books/magazines we've found so far (I link to it so everyone can see the picture at full-size)...
If anyone else wants to continue to help find the full-color versions of the covers shown in the photo, please do and post the picture or a link here, in this thread.
