The "rocky" Ben Grimm is my Thing (heh), but I also dig the "dinosaur hide" version.

Pencil on top, almost all pens and quill in the middle inks and almost all brush in the bottom inks. Tried something different with the reflection effect that doesn't reduce well. I wouldn't have really considered using a brush for The Thing much, but there are some lines that have a great overall look.

Interesting to see two approaches by the same hand. I prefer the bottom image, but I suppose you are more interested in what JB thinks ;)

Reducing this down to 600 pixels wide destroyed all the fine line work, but you get the idea of how it should look.

Nice job, Eric! :)
-- I don't mean to criticize, but Wanda's looking a little walleyed in the 4th panel

Nathan, I agree. That background eye's reflection has too heavy a line over it. Time for the white! ;)

Happy New Year! I'm back to work and wanted to take a moment to say these last 'few' pages of work and comments has been a gift in and of itself.
Wow, JB.
Just wow.

I'm still digging the black and white inks on the previous page.
