I was surprised to see Cyclops getting away with using the word "hell". By the late 80's, the word was banished from Marvel - to the point that the CLASSIC X-MEN reprint of #115 changed Wolverine's use of the word on the iconic splash page to "hades".

For one of my FF issues I jumped thru every imaginable hoop to get permission to have Sue say “Damn you, Doom!” Then the editor, without a word of consultation, changed it to “Curse you, Doom!”Cuz, you know, people talk like that.

Scripting the issue that features the Avengers, and realizing how much I have missed these characters. But, THESE characters. Circa 1980. Not the mess so many of them have been turned into.

That is another reason why so many of us are also excited about this project, JB... We've missed them, too.

I'm excited to see WHICH Avengers are included in the story. I believe the early 80's lineup had a few members coming and going...

Iron Man, Wonder Man, Captain America, Vision and Beast. I thought about having the Wasp, but I was afraid she’d get lost in the shuffle once the action kicked into high gear.
