For a during the mid-late 90s, New Coke was branded as "Coke II". You wouldn't know it from seeing any advertising though. It was just sitting on the shelves (if I remember correctly, in smaller quantities than the original) with that confusing name.

Anyhoo, I'm still getting used to the "new" interpretation of Kitty's power. As handled by Claremont, Kitty letting go of someone mid-phase would have meant instant death (though now that I think about it, I think it was an assumption presented as fact - Kitty never actually attempted it).

As Chris interpreted Kitty’s power—basically having her “swimming” thru solid matter—letting go might have killed someone she was pulling along with her, but it would not have been instant. No more than holding someone under water causes instant death. Death would come from suffocation.

Fantastic page!! Your storytelling is stronger than ever -
the use of panels on the Wolverine/Sentinel sequence is
just perfect!

Wow. Just...wow. That Master Mold silhouette is chilling.

A terrific issue, John. Beyond the obvious spot-on artwork, your gift for storytelling, both with words and pictures, highlight what is wrong with so-called modern comics.

Thank you for this gift... and this master-class you are putting on. Hopefully, creators are taking note and we can begin a trend toward this return to form.

When I did BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA I said my not-so-secret hope was that I might generate a trend back toward FUN in comics.

But I also said that I knew full well that, just as "grim and gritty" had degenerated into GLUM, fun would most likely sink into GOOFY.

Number of views has dropped to 271!

Is it too paranoid to think someone is actually making this happen?

It almost has to be some sort of counter turning over situation. I assume there's a way to look at google analytics for a particular page/thread, but I have no idea how to do it.
