That group shot at the bottom of page seven is AMAZING, especially Wolverine, Cyclops, Kitty, and the Professor.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate this series but thanks so much.

••

I expect Jack Kirby would have chided me for having them just standing there, instead of making a dramatic entrance such as he gave the original team in X-MEN 1!

Great reveal of the gang with a fun line from Kitty. Old grumpy boots Wolverine's not feeling the fun. The body language is bang on for the character, but it makes me realise how he wouldn't be the instructor I'd want!

I continue to admire the backgrounds as much as the main figures. The details are great. Xavier's face is also particularly nice. There's something about it that stands out to me in a good way.

Really nice 'quite' pages!
These pages would have been a perfect introduction for any new reader of the book.

The mention of how much of the original mansion remains is an eye opener. The mansion has been blown up, vaporized, and dropped into Central Park over the years. Even the movie mansion was blown to bits.

Smart move not having Kurt in the welcoming committee, you don't want to scare the parent's off so soon.

Fun build up!

Kurt is busy elsewhere—as you’ll see upon the morrow!
