You beat me to it, Richard! I like the way JB has heroes come up with unexpected solutions to problems.

Thanks, Wallace. My inspiration for that probably goes back to my childhood, reading GREEN LANTERN and feeling enormously frustrated when some bad guy would catch Hal off-guard with some “yellow menace”. I used to SO want to see that play out something like this:BAD GUY: Ha, Green Lantern! Your power ring is useless against my YELLOW ARMOR!! GL: Oh, no! Whatever shall I do!? Let me take a moment to think while I drop Mount Rushmore on your head!

Mark me down as another fan of the idea with the force fields and their advantages and disadvantages. And I'm quite certain that the X-Men learn and adapt faster than the Sentinels do!
Also, re: Logan in panel 3 - if I've ever seen him presented better, I can't remember when.
And further - even if not on today's page, I am so delighted with how Cyclops and Scott Summers looks. A refreshing reintroduction to basic, and yet elegant costume, and civilian-looking character.
QUERY: Do you (or does a standard artist) review fashion magazines to see what women and men are currently wearing? I can't imagine it's as easy as watching TV and movies and picking up on the latest togs. But unless you're drawing the Silver Surfer, Namor, or Tarzan, the designs have to come from somewhere.

I check out fashion magazines. Also I just pay attention when I’m walking down the street. Sometimes this can trip me up. Over the years I’ve received complaints about some of my fashion choices. Since I live in the general environs of New York what I see on the street can sometimes be well ahead of what’s happening in other parts of the country.

Not comic book-related, but JB's comment reminds me of how years ago my friends and I observed that by looking at the styles on display at HBCUs one could correctly predict the next fashion trends to make a splash 6 months to a year+ later. (The turnaround time is much faster now due to the Internet.)

I remember there being some rumbling about LAB RATS' Poe's early 90's hairstyle being out of style in the early 2000s..but fast-forward a few years and it's back in style again!

I also saw one post online asking if LAB RATS was actually SET in the 1990s since one character used “dude” and NOBODY did that anymore!

I don't think this qualifies as a spoiler, as it is an out of context shot with no action from a Mar '19 tumbler post, but I have to say that it is just one of the more beautifully done shots of Jean that I've seen... No big emotional moment or earth moving event in it (at least in this out of context view), but just wonderfully drawn...
