I'd love to see even an IDEA of a redesign!  Storm has been long overdue for one (in this Elsewhen continuity)
Seeing her in action today made me realize how truly non-protective her costume is!  I think females, all heroes really, unless they're Wonder Woman or Phoenix, should be covered head to toe in body armor.
And after speaking with Dave Cockrum years ago, and learning of his derailed plan to have Storm have a sibling ( see "pregnant Storm's mom panel" in her origin during #102), did you ever have any plan to introduce or create a sibling character for her? |

Those left hands! Damn you, Byrne. You make it look so easy.

I didn't like any of Storm's redesigns after the Mohawk-punk look. Everybody put her in long sleeves and leggings. Basically a onesie. It would seem to me someone as regal as Ororo would not have every inch covered by a body suit. Especially being from Africa. My god, she only wore a loincloth when she first met Xavier's crew.

The Xmen are still learning the hard lesson that you need teamwork to take on Magneto...

Another aspect of Storms powers may have worked better against Magneto here. But under pressure, I can see where lightning would be her go to.

Lots of cool action panels on today's page. I've made mention of the shading previously,  but I will say again how awesome it is. I spend time each page soaking in all the details and such.

I agree, Matt.... lots to soak in with each page JB adds.  Excited at your idea of redesigning Storm, JB. Wasn't a fan of recent designs I've seen.

Gosh, I hope John didn't have a clothed head to toe design in mind already and is now busy erasing it ;-)

I love, love, love these pages!!
And, if I could shoot lightning, that would be my go-to move when attacked too!
