Wow! Page 10 is amazing. The second panel is a lesson in perspective, big time! This issue has some great examples of how to maximize image impact for a reader.

Jeffrey R. - I noticed the design of Scott's glasses, too -- I was just thinking it's a good idea to have those big, looping hooks holding them securely on his ears! I love some of the little details like that that present themselves throughout this story.

Seeing Scott react like this has the intensity of when someone threatens Sue Richards' family... I fear for anyone who might harm Jean.

And Jean's more frightening than Scott...

Only if antagonized by some unruly ruffians perhaps...

On page 9, bottom panel, the line reads "Xavier wouldn't have taken her unless he though ..." Should that be "thought" instead?

To my mind, which I know matters not one iota in the grand scheme of things, I have a slight mental tic, for lack of a better term, every time I read Cyclops saying Xavier, because I just feel he would always refer to him as Professor or the Professor. Don't know why.

Don't know why.•• Perhaps for the same reason it used to bug me when Chris would have Jean call X "Charles". Seemed disrespectful, and a somewhat uncomfortable modification of their relationship. Of course, in context, it was really neither.
