Powerful page. From what I understand, you can picture a scene in your head, and 'blink' it unto a page. Are you a mutant?

Powerful page. From what I understand, you can picture a scene in your head, and 'blink' it unto a page. ••• Having spent so much of my childhood/teens drawing directly with pen, with no pencil under drawing, I accidentally trained myself to make every line the right line (on pain of having to start over!). Because of this, I would form the image in my mind, and then “project” it onto the paper. That “projected” image I would then “trace” with my pen. This is pretty much what I do still, tho now I’m using a pencil first.

...and as an artist myself, I still find it amazing that you can do that.

Great page, very much looking forward to the return of this series.
I do wonder if given the way this has been presented and with the announcements today concerning comic book publishing, does this qualify as another example of the Claremont Byrne curse, minus Claremont, of course.

Last year you opted to not publish this through the traditional method of print and serialised it daily for all intents and purposes digitally. Today, with the closure of Diamond and the publishing printers, if company’s want to provide new content, digital is their only option. I’m sure this situation is temporary but for the foreseeable future, the model you chose is the only game in town.
It was just a thought that struck me, I know the “Curse” was where something that happened in your books later happened in real life. I just thought this kind of qualified on a technicality.

If digital publishing had not existed BEFORE I did this, maybe.

Oooo -good page. Looks like things will b definitely getting worse for our heroes. Not that we'd expect an easy time of it when facing dark phoenix...

At least, Jean is reunited. Controlled floating peoples ? Dark Phoenixes tend to do that to talk quietly.
