I'm good with seeing Emma get zapped. I was thinking she was going to be captured, but with Shaw dead now, I guess the Sentinels are on an extermination binge instead??
But I really hope Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie survive!

With the Sentinels on a all out assault, other mutants that would have been nice to see them attack:
Quicksilver (thus incurring the wrath of the Inhumans) Dazzler Soviet Super Soldiers Sunfire

The story isn't over yet, so it's bit early for that.

Was Darkstar (Russian character that appeared in Champions and Iron Man) a mutant? I thought she was interesting as a character in the '70s comics anyway. I know JB would've drawn her in the Champions, but also on an Iron Man cover I really like (#109).

If the vote is still going on, I am fine with Emma Frost getting zapped. Hell, if the Sentinels danced on the ashes, I'd be fine with that, too. No matter how much Chris Claremont and later writers tried to rehabilitate here, I just remember what an evil POS she was in the beginning. Good riddance to her.

You can zap / annihilate / terminate Emma Frost as far as I'm concerned !

For this era that you are depicting, I can't think of a better candidate than the White Queen. Can think of a handful of later characters that I would quite happily see zapped though.

Actually, guys, I asked because some of you seem to think using Emma is wrong for this period, not because she might be undeserving of such treatment.Sorry for not being more clear.

"Since when can she fly?"
I love that. Hearing it from Ben shows us how big a deal that is for the period! Hope Franklin's OK.

Sue's motherly instincts are taking over. I hope that doesn't make a major difference in this battle.
For this to be an X-Men series, the Invisible Girl is playing a VERY BIG ROLE.
Can't wait to see what Monday brings.

Oh... I say Emma is ok for this time period (I don't think we were ever told how long her recovery actually took?)
I know Phoenix could have killed Emma in the duel, but maybe at that point deep down she didn't want to really do that, and so (obviously) didn't...
Very moving second panel today. No one could fault her leaving the battle under those conditions...
