It looks like Kitty is wearing the same shirt she
wore that day when she first arrived at the school.
I wonder now, as I wondered when I first read that
issue, what the text on that shirt reads? I have
my thought on it, but I'm sure it can't be what I
think.

I remember Kitty's shirt! Pretty sneaky if I'm guessing correctly what it really says :)

It really screamed "retro". I thought it was the hair---but I see it now.

Nice!

Kitty is a subscriber to the Illinois Theater Company.

I can’t IMAGINE what else you might think............

Vintage Charles, coming in and taking charge, demanding information, no matter who it is from.

Reed is the obvious choice for him to target, but any particular reason why it's Iron Man for the Avengers? I can't recall if he was chairman at the time.

Iron Man was standing next to Reed.

The pace is really good -- very satisfying to have just a page or two really moves the story along.

Just a pleasure to see these characters drawn so well -- today, it's Iron Man that has the wow factor. Never seen the armour drawn so well.

Peter I was just going to say that about moving the story along nicely with one page. Five panels stuffed to the brim!

I clearly remember those glitter Tee's from the 70's, and what they said.

Kitty wasn’t even BORN in the Seventies.

I never would have guessed about the Tee, but have put two and two together. And she seemed like such a nice girl, oy!
