Wow.
That's a powerful picture.
JB, did you plan to add motion lines all along?
*Should those still be called speed lines?

That is an awesome amount of rubble -- and so much vibrancy in how its arranged, you can almost see it moving.

Call ‘em speedlines if you like, Wallace. Works as well as anything else. And, yes, one (minor) reason for the density of the debris was so I could run the ol’ electric eraser over it.

Now THAT'S rubbish! (and I mean that in the best way possible).
Wow. Are these sneak-peeks building a crazy amount of tension for everyone, or is it just me?

Steven, it's not just you to be sure...
Feels like we've been waiting *decades* for this... Oh wait, in some sense we have!

I know that by now in the mainstream we are too far along, but I really liked Jean as Phoenix with her initial "limited" level power set and confidence.
The unfortunate consequence of her death is we never really got to see her as a Thor power-level character interacting with some of the heavy hitters, which might have been pretty awesome if done right. They tried to do it with Binary but that just went nowhere.
I mean most people don't think Thor's power level ruins the Avengers when he appears there. Sorry, I make have just gone off on a brief tangent here...

I tend to enjoy the Avengers more when Thor isn't on hand. In fact, my favorite "Avengers story" features Black Panther, Giant Man (Clint), Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and the Vision taking on the Hulk in THE INCREDIBLE HULK #128.

That big spider-web bag is a lot of fun. These sentinels are really out of control...

Best looking Spider-Man hands down. And Storm looks damn good too!

That's a timely helping hand from Storm!
I like the way JB has Spider-Man remind us of his public persona problems courtesy of Triple J in a way that's fitting for the scene. (This is also a nice bit of information for someone unfamiliar with the wallcrawler's PR troubles.)

Spider-Man and Storm teaming up to save a bunch of civilians in a big web? What the hell is this, a comic book?
For so long, there's been a moratorium on almost everything that made "old- school" comics great.
This series is another case of JB seeing to say: "Remember how much fun comics used to be? Let's do that!"

I agree Mark, "fun" being the operative word there!
Terrific Phoenix panel also. Geez! So dynamic it could easily be a splash!
