And the Master of the World? Are you KIDDING? That's GREAT!
******************* Are you referring to Avalanche on yesterday's page?

Mr. Byrne - bottom of page 4, the last panel. It looks like the Master of the World, who I thought was a hell of an opponent. Just a came of appearance of him caused me to feel good. (And who knows but that he might have been capable of fighting off a swarm or two of sentinels.)
As for Emma Frost - crap on TPTB. Weren't they the ones who insisted "Dead is dead"? Not, I guess, that I expected consistency.

Ryan is correct, Eric. That’s Avalanche (note the falling rocks), not the Master of the World. Now, a quick vote (and NOT a precedent!): how many of you would prefer to see someone other than Emma Frost getting zapped?

Ms. Frost didn't bother me at all.
I will admit that I didn't recognize Avalanche, however. I didn't think he was MotW, but I didn't quite figure out who he was, either. Looking him up now, his first appearance was XM141, so that in "Elsewhen continuity", we've never seen him before! :D

I’ve no problems with either Emma or Avalanche.
In fact, my disdain of the Emma character, especially with how Morrison & others used her in destroying Cyclops, means I am quite glad, especially if it means those stories would be impossible.
I do realise they would be impossible in a Byrne-verse anyway, but take her off the table for others, please.

If it changes history and keeps Emma from becoming an X-Man and in a relationship with Scott, zap away. Doubletap, too. Rule #1.

No problem with EF's fate here. I, too, didn't immediately remember Avalanche though being reminded of X 141, I do slightly recall him after all (a LOT happened in DOFP!)

Emma Frost getting zapped works fine for me and I had no problem recognizing Avalanche. Both images tie back to the X-Men history nicely. It would be cool to see any other panels you had in mind for illustrating the extent of the Sentinel invasion, but asking seems greedy. You are already going far beyond what anyone ever dreamed.

I had no issue with Emma being zapped. Feel free to zap her again Mr Sentinel!

I am not prophesying quite so much as I wonder how Franklin vs. Phoenix might turn out..........................................
Whoa! This hadn't even crossed my mind! And here I was considering small-ball like whether or not Phoenix can manipulate Kitty's phased form.

Now, a quick vote (and NOT a precedent!): how many of you would prefer to see someone other than Emma Frost getting zapped?

I too am fine with Emma Frost getting zapped, though I wouldn't mind seeing Amal Farooque get what he deserves. But, thinking it over, it's probably safe to assume in this timeline that he already has (X-Men #117), and that he remains dead and continues to suffer never ending agony. That, of course, being the far better option. No sense in undoing a great story and resolution for the sake of my momentary satisfaction.

No problem with me re: Emma Frost.
Really hoping Northstar and Aurora get away, tho.

I much prefer Emma Frost zapped. I was never a fan.
Seeing Aurora and Northstar, with him potentially unconscious makes me wonder if their twin flash-of-light power works with out the purposeful intention of both siblings. (This obviously became a moot point when Aurora's powers eventually changed but while the hand-holding had that effect...)
