I really appreciate (inter alia) the effort JB is making to render faces distinct.

Beautiful pages! I love the treesof these Westchester woods...
Thanks for these two pages!
And I just understood something about Nightcrawler's face drawing (well... when it was originally penciled...)!

Wow -some awesome stuff especially all the detail/textures on the second page. There's an interesting contrast between Wolverine's rough face and Mariko's smooth one in his mind's eye.
Nice to see Scott is giving Jean the proper attention, but I still have fears what he may find if I'm following where you appear to be going...

I went to the thread for issue 11 and read the new stuff and came back here to comment. Then read JB's comment about two new pages and had to go back and check I hadn't missed a page. I hadn't... It just read so seamlessly, I didn't even notice I'd read two pages!
I actually prefer the flow of absorbing a couple of pages at a time.
Comments: Sounds kind of weird to have Nightcrawler's shadows explicitly stated as a power like that (don't write him out, JB!). Nice inversion with Vision worrying about an inert Scarlet Witch, in comparison with other stories we've had in the past (which take place in another future!). Love the different expressions on the faces of Wolverine and Colossus as Jean undergoes her tests. And that foliage! Very atmospheric panel.

Looks like Kurt’s power of being “invisible in the shadows” is coming to an end...!

Jim Petersman: Most comic book artist's fans: "The way the villain broke the planet in half and threw the sun into another galaxy setting it on fire was so cool!"
Us: The bottom of that work boot is absolutely perfect!
******** I read this after first perusing today’s new pages and had to laugh. Today I was impressed by the inclusion of an air vent on the top of a building in the foreground. It’s those little touches that I love about JB’s artwork.

The final panel of Wolverine running through the wooded area is magnificent. The heavy border given to the foreground made me wonder what the panel, given color, would like through an old Kodak View-Master. I imagine it would be a thing of beauty.

Several issues now—that you have yet to see—take place in the wooded areas around the mansion. It’s quite convenient that all I have to do to get the basic forms and configurations is look out my Studio window!

The Wolverine on page 8 panel 1 is quintessential Logan. This panel should be cited as mandatory reference for all future artists.

Both pages are fantastic! I keep mentioning the detail in past pages, and it seems each new page outdoes the previous. It's truly fun to take it all in.
