Page 8! The faces! Wolverine unmasked has never looked better.  And this is a subtle reminder that Peter is not much more than a boy and still fairly inexperienced in seeing friends and family suffering.

I'm reminded that for much of my comic reading days that Vision or Wanda has been incapacitated or not themselves. And that you've had a hand in a lot of that, JB!

Is Peter's broken leg fine when he transforms into metal?

JB says he gave us 2 pages today because there was little action in them...

...but I imagine that in no way means they took less effort to drawn --- more likely the opposite with all those gorgeous background details! Amazing.

Many thanks for all your good work. Today was a wonderful treat!

Been away for a while.  You know.  Life gets busy.
But I have to publicly post how much I personally really appreciate this entire work.

Thank you John Byrne.  From the bottom of my heart.

I have not purchased any new comics in many years.  They aren't what I loved about comics anymore.

This is.  This is what I loved about comics.  The art.  The stories.  And the characters.  Especially the characters.

THESE are the X-Men I remember and love.  I do not recognize the characters that pass with those names for probably well over 25 years.  Maybe 30 years.

I have enjoyed every issue of Elsewhen.  But this page 8 in issue 11.

Wow.

Just ridiculously amazing.  I love it.

So thank you John Byrne.  And thank you for doing it especially in light of the totality of the circumstances.  Whatever the situation with Marvel that did not work out, I am sad.  But the fact you put it up anyway and run with it insinuates to me that you are clearly doing this for fun and satisfaction.  No one could ever complain that it was about money.  Because it obviously is not.  Bravo sir.

Bravo.

PS - a question:  If this is the 11th issue in this Elsewhen, would it have been Uncanny X-Men 149?  Meaning the next issue would have been 150?  Or is all that irrelevant at this point?

So well said, Brad!! I share your feelings on this amazing experience

On today's page, it's great to hear Wolverine's thoughts. This is something
that was such a part of the original run. I really like seeing how you handle this
now that you fully have the storytelling reins.

With regards to what Brad said...I most strongly agree. It cannot be understated how JB's work here fills a massive void for many of us.
