Stargate seems more dangerous too. Good call.

If the goal was to get to Earth before Lilandra, the stargate seems like a necessary element.

Been thinking about this while I did some errands - I love seeing Jahf survive this as a comparison to Wolverine crashing into the mansion. We can fathom flying through the air like Wolverine, which makes this cosmic crash seem both bigger and easier to understand! And it really shows us how tough Jahf is.

I actually considered having Gladiator throw Jahf without the portal AND without the protective shell. But I decided that was—you should pardon the expression—unrealistic! --------------------------------------- I love how Jahf landed just outside the X-Men's mansion because where else would it land in a world where characters are faster than a speeding bullet and are able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Explanations get in the way of the fun in a good comic book. And this is a great comic book thanks for the fun.

Just a note: Jahf landed at a distance equivalent to how far Wolverine can run in two hours, flat out. (Somewhere between fifty and eighty miles.)

Two and a half pages to go, and 14 will be finished. Which means, since 15 is already done, I've completed WAY over 300 pages of this "project".I'll have to find a way to mark 500, as I did on my original run!

Awesome sound effect...•• Interesting that you should say that. I put a lot of thought into the sound effects I use, and I was grumbling to myself as I posted that image that SKRAM! does not suggest to me a big metal figure crashing thru a stone wall! Ah, well!

You know, because it's so different it made me sound it out and I got a higher pitch metallic scraping against brick sound. I made it work, after all you put it there it had to work. And as 14 year old I guarantee I made it work!

I'm sure that "500" is common knowledge to most, but I had no idea! Awesome!!

I have looked at the panels to X-men 137# more times than I can count, and I've never noticed that "500" until you pointed it out today.
If you're not looking for something, you just don't see it, even when it's right in front of you.
Makes me curious how many other hidden items I've missed over the years.

At first glance I picked up a strong Carlos Ezquerra vibe from that center panel on pg. 17.
