It's amazing how enjoyable this project is if you pay attention to what's going on!

The Blackbird the the bottom panel looks sweet.
And honestly, every time I see Cyclops looking "like himself" it makes me smile.
Every page is a real treat---and I'll admit, I have NO idea what's coming next.

I love the idea of seeing Scott and Wolverine as a duo during this time period... by someone who understands them. I pity those dirtbags if they give Logan attitude.

ITEM: Why is everyone assuming it's just Scott and Logan coming to the rescue? I saw nothing to imply it.
ITEM: By this point, I suspect that Scott and Logan have a grudging friendship. Not drinking buddies - not yet, anyhow - but more of a "Hey boss, you ain't goin' out there alone. Save me a rock, bub."
ITEM: What IS it with you and the Thing and Captain America, Mr. Byrne? Obviously you couldn't squeeze everyone into that panel... but Cap and Ben seem to show up a lot? Just because IMO you're the best artist they've ever had, and it is a joyful delight to see you draw them, that's a reason for you to draw 'em so often? I request that you don't stop. :)

Cap and Ben are a lock for a tie for my 2nd favorite comic character, so I'll take as much as I can get here!

Why is everyone assuming it's just Scott and Logan coming to the rescue? I saw nothing to imply it.---------------------------------------------- The words imply it. If the whole team were also coming along, the words would mean Cyclops is singling Logan out as as unnecessary accompaniment. I I think that makes less sense than the Occam's Razor assumption that it is only Cyclops and Wolverine in the jet.
Nice lighting on the plane, by the way, JB.
Puzzled by the holes in Jean's shirt, but not in Jean -- in a good way.

Interesting: whatever the phenomenon is, it also included the shirt when Jean went through the door but it didn't include the shirt when the bullets went through Jean.

Yes. Today's...Wow. Just plain WOW.
(As a small aside, I like it when Wolverine talks out of the side of his mouth. [middle-left panel] It really grounds his character.)
