Cyke and Wolverine at the top left of today's page... That's got to be one of those scenes you look at and think to yourself, "Darn, I'm good!"•• ;-)

This page is chock full of top notch storytelling and artwork. My eyes were drawn to our heroes in the final panel, especially the seams in Cyclops’ glove. Then I noticed something about the highest baddie who appears to be the cook. Is he wearing fuzzy slippers? I haven’t gone back through previous issues to check, but I sure hope so. That would be a great touch of detail.

The render on the back of Wolverines head to give it form, in the last panel is brilliant...I know, I'm weird, I'll sit in the corner and think about what I said.
Another great page.

Get out of that corner, Darren! Artists have to “develop” every element in a scene, or there is a danger of images taking on a patchwork quality. At this point, it’s pretty much second nature to me, but it’s stll there.

One of the qualities of your recent works I love are the textures. Those guns look heavy in the hand.

This gang of goons deserves to die for what they had planned for Jean and if Logan finds out it might be one of those, “now it’s my turn” moments. Perhaps it is the release format, but I never noticed so many page to page cliff hangers in JB’s work as I do with Elsewhen. It is simultaneously frustrating and rewarding as I struggle to savour Elsewhen as I also wish to devour it whole. :)
Great pages and especially like Cyclops and Wolverine out for a “buddy trip” of sorts. Has that dynamic ever been done by any writer?

It's fun studying the details in each page.
Hmm... those guys seem to be levitating, as if by telekinesis. Heh.

The pages in issue 11 are some of the best pages I've ever seen you draw... todays in particular. Your work is always excellent, but when it drops out of your pencil, there is something special about it.

LOVING Cyclops' visor and the detail on the sides! I have to pull a Hidden Years panel and put them side by side--- two best versions of his visor!

Stack of lumber!
I love all these drawings, but the random stack of lumber really brought me into this space in a visceral way-- great, totally poignant detail!
And I wouldn't want anyone but Scott and Wolverine on this particular mission. It helps keep the focus on Jean's tragedy to have two quasi-rivals (even if one of them is just a bit psycho) searching for her.
