Rebecca, I do occasionally have moments of watching my hand draw and wondering who’s doing it!

What a sublime sequence of panels - the drama of Jean's physical position in each, as she rises up, is wonderful & powerfully realised. That, coupled with the 'Old Man' dialogue, is storytelling perfection.

I just noticed how the word balloons at the bottom of the first panel of Wednesday's page are partially overlapped by Professor X's leg and Phoenix's foot. It's a small thing, but I think it works.

Hoping for a dramatic splash for the final page!

Despite all we've seen over the years, it's still a gut punch.

Like she stepped out of memory, untouched by time.

Ouch. I'm a wreck.

Dude! Really? I just spent 5 minutes staring at that splash with butterflies fluttering in my belly. That Dark Phoenix is just so on point!!

I've come to the conclusion that these pencils are so tight and varied, I'm not sure inks can do anything more than just darken the line.

I don't know about Charles, but I'm more than afraid enough for him and the rest of the X-Men!

Me again!

I can't believe we're at the end of 12 issues.

So much did happen without losing the characters... We don't find comics like this anymore.

She’s back! And she sounds like she has some truly evil plans for the future.
