...this is not helping my anxiety of what is happening to our beloved heroes meanwhile.

Enter: Squirrel Girl

I kid. I kid.

I'm curious to know how and when this new plot thread will connect with our heroes! Fortunately, I possess the virue [sic] of patience!

*I realize I'm "cheating" with my use of "[sic]" here, but since it's been a while, not everyone will catch the reference.

and please don't start Mr. Byrne. Most of the comics I read today end with .."meh" or "ok" or having me flipping through the pages to get the jist of it. Elsewhen has me excited to see what comes next, going back to re-read issues, absolutely loving the art! Don't change a thing!

Wonderful imagery. The dark/light contrast of the last panel is shockingly ominous---oblivion indeed!

"And the award for Greatest Squirrel Comic Book Artist" goes to ...."

I hope you are having as much fun producing these pages as I am reading them, JB. The lack of corporate control combined with the deep reverence of both the characters and the format are on full display here. An absolute joy to read!

Brilliant page! Great drawing, great storytelling, just as exciting and dramatic as any other, very well done.

And not the first squirrel to appear in Elsewhen! The pair running from awakening Sentinels back in issue 9 were the first. I do enjoy pages like this from time to time to show the rendering skills of an artist. Super heroes can become easy if that is all you draw. As we know, JB has great command of the pencil so even a squirrel can carry a page. =)
