(Note that I recognize that my trilogy concept shatters when the WOLVERINE series comes into the fold. So let's just consider this a Douglas Adams type of trilogy - which means a trilogy with more than three parts!)

One of my favorite aspects of this project is that it's coming straight from you, and it is not going through an editorial process. ••• Ah, but it does. Just happens that the editor is me. And boy howdy, do I ever hate it when he makes me dump whole subplots!

Hmmm... The last two panels tell us there might be more going on than meets the eye.
We've seen that Alt-Magneto has used mind control devices on his Alt-X-Men. I imagine prolonged use of this, their proclivity for mindless violence and murder, and the fact that they haven't changed their ways since arriving in our X-Men's reality, suggests that there is no redemption or turning back for these characters. Betrayal yes, heroics no. Time will tell...
Looking forward to where this story goes next!

That's an awesome drawing of Cerebro. And a great snap back to the present moment!

--- Indeed to both! The snap back is incredibly well done.

I'm pondering over today's final panel -- I'm fairly sure I know *what* we're seeing -- but I can't imagine *why* we're seeing it!

Interesting! My first read-through, I did not realize the last panel was back to the present. Even though he’s not wearing cerebro, and he’s in a different set of clothes.

Holy crow, I KNOW who Xavier is looking at! I cannot wait for the majestic* reveal tomorrow... that piece of art is going to be a honey!
Why do you do to us the way you do to us when you do to us, Mr. Byrne? I'm waiting, slavering, for tomorrow's strip - as I do most every day!
*Not to imply I think that it's royalty. I think the art will be majestic. Suitable for a king, p'rhaps.

Since the next page is a rather uneventful splash (with, finally, the issue’s title), and the following page is also pretty low key, I’m considering posting both pages tomorrow.

I mean, that is pretty close to the conceit of the Marvel Universe. These are meant to be news, not fiction. The Marvel heroes really exist and license their adventures to Marvel Comics.
