At this moment, I have no idea who Xavier is talking to.......
....and that's what makes tomorrow's reveal so exciting!

Curious, considering the last time you saw X.

This is a general observation, not aimed at anyone in particular, but...
Elsewhen makes me feel like a bloomin' genius! I'm constantly seeing people, sometimes here but more often elsewhere, expressing confusion over something.
"I don't understand why "Z" is happening!"
"Umm, it's because of "X" and "Y" that we've already seen!"
A lot of the time it seems as if people just aren't paying attention!

Jumping around in the timeline, as I am, I know can sometimes confuse people who prefer a more linear approach. Mind you, I was almost completely linear on GENERATIONS 1, 2 and 3, and people still complained that they were “confused” by the gaps.

That it feels that way, that illusion, is due to the work of the creators. If they're skillful, it sure does feel like a window into another world. Fans buy into it, sure, but buying into it too deeply leads to some really weird fanthink, rather than just enjoying the stories.
Certain ideas ("Thor could shrug off whatever Magneto can do!") get embedded in their expectations, which limits (in their eyes) what a writer can do with certain characters. And that kills a writer's ability to surprise and delight readers.

Back in the day, readers might have missed an issue or two, such that they wouldn't have much idea who a character was talking to in a scene like this.
However, since all of these issues are literally at our fingertips, it wouldn't take much effort to go back and see where Professor X was last shown and with whom he was speaking.

As for the two-page reveal tomorrow-
as a fan and reader, I'd be delighted to get "two for the price of one."
as a guy who enjoys the one-per-day pacing, I feel like it'd be okay to have one tomorrow and one Thursday and so on.
I guess my only other consideration--and it isn't even mine, particularly--is whether it would mess up your release timetable, JB. We're enjoying the work of a master craftsman for free, so whatever serves your needs best, we're fully on board.

Its funny - last night, I decided to go back and do a re-read of the last ten issues. I couldn't remember what had happened to Alex and Lorna. But sure enough, that hospital thread was resolved - AND I discovered that JB is doing entirely new pages in the old issues. So that was a nice treat to end the day on.

Ok I checked and indde ther was a big change in issue 15 (the one with Colossus underwater and the pain because of his wound) Of course it had to be altered to fit the recovery. I didn't find any other changes of that scale but I may have missed it.

I love it when members of the forum slam other members. Especially if they lost track of the story for a moment.
