....just how far behind everyone else was Quicksilver to be in last place of a group of people running?!

-----------------------
He stopped to pick up (literally) Wanda on the way - just in case she swooned from all the excitement of seeing a Thunder God in all his glory.

Reminds me of a homemade birthday card Roger Stern sent me once. He used an old FLASH cover, which showed Our Hero racing in to clobber Gorilla Grodd—while speaking four or five longish balloons.

Made me wonder where the Flash had been when he started talking. Guam?

JB, Cyclops' "smoking visor" in the close-up, is the effect due to heat or is it residue from the energy released?

Fantastic first page.  I think we're about to learn why alt-Magneto and the M-Men left their world.  This has the "magic."

How old is Thor suppose to be? Just wondering if perhaps he has seen many (human) comrades die.

This might be a 'careful what you wish for' situation - I don't actually want to see any of our heroes die!

The basic scan is slightly grey. I just paint in any white effects in Photoshop.

Same thing that’s happening, basically, with the balloons, captions and sound effects.

It is just wild the visceral jolt I get every time I look at these characters in this roller-coaster of a story.

...as a result, I look at the pages a lot.

Something that feels this good MUST be bad for me.
