Noooooo!
Just kidding.
I am glad to see Professor X flexing his mental muscles on today's page. Peter's comment is also a nice reminder that even someone who possesses mutant powers of his own can be unsettled by the malevolent actions of someone as evil as Magneto.

This has been FUN!
Looking forward to tomorrow’s page
Also, since I’m old (school), I do print each page and put them in sleeves in a binder to read, I know... I just like the pages in front of me reading as a normal comic.
So thanks for the info on changed pages, as I grab those to update my books.

They beat the FF and the Avengers... I'm minded of the first FF vs X-Men crossover (FF #28.) GREAT story, that! But without Xavier, the Fantastic Four would have taken the match. As for the Merry Mutants against the Avengers... I don't recall any realistic fight between the two teams, but I'm not sure it's a given in any case.
Seems as if Old Magneto overestimates his team JUST a little bit. And without the psychic training that younger Magneto has, how exactly would he escape from Xavier's mental grasp?
M-Magneto doth brag WAY too much, me thinks!

Thanks, JB! The double page entry earlier had indeed slipped my mind. Tomorrow will be quite a big day!

Mastermind gave Magneto's team a huge edge in their fights. It doesn't take a lot to imagine how he would have done half the work for them. His loss is a much bigger blow to the alt-mutants than we might have realized.

One of the fun things about this project, for me, is that I am not restrained by arbitrary rules. The bad guys don’t have to lose because they’re bad. I like the challenge, coming up with legitimate ways for the heroes to win.

I know we’re not supposed to speculate, but I think the “real reason” is Krispy Kreme.
My theory is that they dont have Krispy Kreme on the alt-Earth for some reason and Magneto saw some Krispy Kreme donuts in the viewer and just had to try one.

Even the cosmic cube had a thing for Hostess cakes/pies! But I would think maybe Cheez-Its...
That image of Wolverine/Logan on the floor there is again very painful... to quote Bill Clinton "I feel his pain" in every one of these! :^O

Perhaps that's why you are a great story teller.

Masterful way of showing the age difference in the two Magnetos with those profiles! One thing that has always amazed me about your art is the way you can put a ton of characterization onto just a face.
