Alpha Flight!!!

A I told in another thread I've just read the first volume of a new Alpha Flight anthology in french and that's cool to see them in Elsewhen too.

By the way I can't stop to look at these new pages... They're amazing.

An unexpected turn to the north!

Australia seems to be having the sort of conversations about changing their flag that Canada was in the mid '60s... it often comes down to the 'people fought and died under this flag' consideration for many. I'm not sure if a green kangaroo would be the equivalent for down under as the red maple leaf was for us... or how about a brown boomerang... would'ja believe an orange koala? Guardian as a representation is fine with me because I can imagine if it would've been the Baffling Beaver-Man or The Human Moose... :^o

Cool.
I was NOT expecting an Alpha Flight page, but I am SO happy to see one.
It has been SO long.
Thank you.
I love Alpha Flight.

Still thinking on the title of this issue "Vanishing Points" and this leave me with much pondering.

(or is is Vanishing Point?)
Now I have to go back and reread it.

I think that was Pierre Dentifiris (Le Beaver) in Howard The Duck.

And another unexpected. Interesting how you drew her with the smaller
Phoenix symbol she was introduced with.

And Xavier’s head in the third panel is just magnificent. The angle, the
turn of the head. Looks so absolutely three dimensional.

So good. Even a Phoenix cameo!

It feels like pigging out on ice cream and candy---will I awake with a belly ache?

I very much appreciate that Kitty is not being rendered in some generic young teen manner. You could definitely pick her out of a crowd, face front, profile, any angle. And, even more, she looks like a teen, i.e., like who she will grow up to be, but not quite yet. Pretty, but awkward. Nicely done!
