Looks like Oracle is getting a taste of what focused power feels like. Killer first panel. I want to see this Pixar-ed.

Wow, this story has truly been a tour de force. Superb art, natch, but folding the IG into this ersatz What If story, and a brief glimpse of Alphans to boot.
I also love that Oracle is depicted in Astra’s mindscape completely intact, and not as a cyborg. Very subtle, but it makes sense that Astra would still think of Oracle that way. This attention to detail, along with the pure visual magic you’re weaving, make this the most enjoyable comic I’ve read in decades.

A very powerful shift in tone and mood backed up by the high-contrast imagery.
Masterful.

The perfect cliffhanger accompanied by a beautifully rendered dramatically shaded emotion packed image of Alt Jean... BRAVO JB! You get a virtual standing ovation with roses falling to your feet on your grand artistic stage... BRAVO!

( staring slack jawed at the screen) So NOW what's gonna happen!! And I have to wait a weekend to find out??? Sadistic. Entertaining as Hell, but sadistic. And Mr Byrne, anytime you are bored, feel free to start a new book " the Shi'ar Empire." your non Shi'ar characters are so cool I could easily read a comic about them even if all they do is twiddle dials on big Kirby-esque machines. Thanks for so much entertainment. Cant wait until Monday.
