…is the Mansion modeled on a specific real-world building?•• That I do not know. Like Avengers Mansion, the X-Mansion had many shapes over the years, and it wasn't really until OHOTMU that it settled on one. That's the one I had been using. (Unlike Avengers Mansion, the X-House rarely strayed into areas that made me wish the artists--in those pre-internet days--would pick up a copy of ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST or some equivalent. Come on, guys! Even Kirby used reference for some stuff!) The movies, and the comics since, have gone right off the rails, of course.
