It's a small thing, but I like how Guardian has his hand on Heather's forearm--he's holding her back from rushing to Logan's side too, or so it seems to me. Not that Heather is reckless but she is very empathetic and she's had an ability to get through to him before.

What's fun about Elsewhen are the elements that I didn't expect, but am enjoying the heck out. Pablo and Wolverine's relationship is among the top.

Kitty having a big part in the series and that I am looking forward to what she's getting into next wasn't expected. Before Elsewhen, I wasn't very connected to the character at all.

I was expecting a fun ride with great art tho.. and JB certainly delivered that : )

I suppose this could be taken as my cue to say you haven’t seen the “real” Kitty since I left UNCANNY. Before, even, since Chris was ignoring my template from the get-go.

I've been so wrapped up in this month's issue, and loving it all, that I completely forgot about Jean, Ororo, and Scott!

Not much of that. The fighting we see is all on foot.

Well, except for the three who fly………..

BWAH-as t’were-HA HA HA HA HA!

+++++++++++++++

Just as I suspected, you're having just as much fun doing this as we are reading it :)

p.s. I got my period piece fix (that doesn't sound right) from a collected OMAC I picked up at the last Wizard World to be held here in Chicagolast weekend, so I'm good :)

What a fantastic week of pages! I keep saying whatever is the recent issue is
my favorite, but it's true - ELSEWHEN gets better with each story.

I am a big Jean Grey fan. Needless to say that the latest page didn't make my happy to return to her. Wolverine's tale is very intriguing and I can hardly wait to return to it! So, JB, as far as building suspense, you have done a great job, congrats!!

As far as the older Claremont-Lee story, Black Widow was included via a storytelling trick. Cap and Logan met her when she was a child in the flashback scnes and Logan met her in the modern pages. So, yeah, Logan, Cap and Widow were together, but not in the fashion depicted on the cover (also, was this the 1st time Cap's blonde eyebrows were so prominently depicted?).

Sometimes I could not convince myself that there were not people at Marvel whose sole job was to sit around trying to think up the dumbest things they could do to/with the characters.
