So early 70s, roughly. And that would make him around his early 60s. Not
really a young man at all.

Doodling yesterday with a new costume variant for Storm. Something a little more evocative of what she wore in Africa. Which means, yes, white.

Problem is, in black and white drawings, how will it be distinguishable from her uncolored skin? Should I start adding a grey tone to her flesh? If so, in the pencils, or on the scan?

Whichever route you choose will be fine. For me, you are very good with distinguishing ethnicity with facial features regardless of skin tone.

In the scan would be easier I think...

If I do this, I may end up darkening the whole scan and then lightening her garments.

Clearly, experimentation is the key!

Last issue suggested he was born around 1910, which puts him in his SIXTIES in the early Seventies.

A long way from Len’s teenager!

That’s what I was trying to say. So he’s really had a pretty long life of pain
and anguish before this even happens. And then, knowing whatever kind of
hell is coming with this implantation, he still sees it as being better than
how is life is at the moment. He actually willfully goes along with it.
Astounding.

Ahh, that all makes sense now. Amazing to think how little of that long life was happy.

Adamantium cancer!! My next storyline!!!

------------------------------------------------------
In the 2017 LOGAN movie they revealed *that* Wolverine to be suffering from Adamantium poisoning. As he aged his healing factor had eventually weakened to the point that he was unable to fight off the effects.

Dog save us from writers who think the best way to tell a story is by making a good thing bad!

Microscopic barbs! <shudder>

I say this not to make light of his suffering, but in total sincerity--it's not easy being Wolverine. That's the beauty of this story!

Logan was suffering from the adamantium poisoning due to external causes, it wasn't his age.
