Confirming that this is an entirely political operation intended to keep him from running.************************************** It worked to get rid of Spiro Agnew. However,, Agnew didn’t have a rat faced brood to run in his place.

This man is completely incapable of applying a filter to what he says.
If there was such a deal, he would milk that until the day he died, stirring up more & more dissent & pointing to the ‘truth’ of the deal.
No way should it ever be even considered due to the irreparable harm it would open up.

The Orange doG showed his hand last year. He's running to prevent himself from going to jail.
The other candidates, except Christie, are scared shitless of him.
How can you run for office, but afraid to attack the front runner? Especially with this guy being indicted on espionage charges.

Chris Christie has about as much chance of becoming the nominee as I do.

New article about Aleen Cannon’s credentials prior to being named to the bench and her experience overseeing trial cases is revealing. She is incredibly unqualified to be a judge.
The inmates are running the asylum.

If anyone other than Trump is the GOP nominee, I predict that he will again be a sore loser and refuse to accept it, discouraging his most ardent cultists from voting. Not a lot, but enough to matter in swing states.
People keep touting DeSantis, but that's just Trumpism without the charisma. I've heard months and months ago that his reputation with people in the Florida political scene was that he was weird and off-putting socially, and Trump's allies have already begun with the ableist attacks by suggesting that he's autistic.
Also, I don't think "anti-woke" is a platform that plays well beyond the Republican base. At best, it's a low priority for swing voters. On the other end, it's a rallying point for the youth vote that turned out atypically for the 2020 election.

And now he’s blaming mutants for the “radical left indictment hoax.” First, his administration recognized Wakanda as a real nation, now he’s blaming mutants. I guess he thinks the Marvel Universe is real?

Clearly Nightcrawler teleported into Mar-a-Lago and planted those classified documents.

This indictment contains a lengthy set of factual allegations that seem intended to demonstrate just how irresponsible the ex-prez's handling of the documents was - complete with pictures of boxes of classified documents being stored in a bathroom... and how elaborate his efforts to stonewall federal investigators were.
But he's polling strong to capture his party's nomination for President.
Still, to win in 2024, he'll need the votes of many outside his MAGA cult... and I wonder if that many people are careless enough to vote for* such a vindictive, lawbreaking, lying overgrown juvenile delinquent?
-C!
(*Sadly, might be a job for some voter suppression. Let's NOT count that out.)

And Trump has rejected his lawyers’ offers to attempt to settle with DoJ.

Is Cannon actually going to be the judge (picked at random? really?) overseeing the documents charges from this point? I know the state upheld "armed with a sidewalk' as a self-defense excuse in the past, but surely this insanity can't be allowable given her previous history involving a Trump situation!
