No one was sitting on that toilet. Clearly, it was there for the disposal of documents securely.

"You’ve seen the contents of the boxes?"
No. I've seen the contents of the indictment, which states exactly how many documents were recovered by the government, and where they were kept.

Most of the Republicans running to be on their presidential ticket in 2024 have already committed to pardoning Trump should they gain the office (though he himself is the front-runner still by quite a margin). The Miami mayor says pardoning Trump would 'heal' the country.
Trump himself is 'demanding' to be un-indicted and an apology given to him from the DOJ.
Extra-strength double lined barf-bag times!*

@John Wickett “I think the images of boxes may be creating a misperception about the facts”
There is a copy machine in the background on one of the photos. What should we make of that fact?

I desperately hope Jack Smith’s opening address to the jury is:
“ This is no fantasy. No careless product of wild imagination. No, my good friends. These indictments that I have brought you today. Specific charges listed herein against the individuals. Their acts of treason, their ultimate aim of sedition. These...are matters of undeniable fact.”

The fact that dumbass did take classified documents is one thing.
But the fact that the documents are NOT in SCIFs (pronounced SKIFFs) is totally fucked.
Trump has had questionable visitors at Mar-A-Largo. I'm sure a few have "used the toilet" to gain access to the documents.

And he’s still insisting the documents belong to him and he had every right to have them there. He just keeps on and on and on admitting his guilt.

I strongly doubt that in the boxes were comics.
Not even complete runs of Marvel 2 in 1, The Thing, The Fantastic Four (with the exception of the She-Hulk issues), and anything Metamorpho.

That documents may have been copied/shared with third parties by Trump or others. But we already knew that was a possibility. The transcript of Trump's conversation with a book author about an attack plan on a foreign country clearly shows that Trump was willing to share classified national defense information with someone who did not have clearance to see it.
Also, we know that boxes of documents were spilled on the floor and left unattended. So zero care was taken to protect the information contained in the documents.
I'm not defending Trump. I'm saying what he did was bad enough that it doesn't require embellishment to justify outrage at his conduct, or any consequences he may ultimately face.

The media sure seem to be lapping up every utterance or 'tweet' (I know, it's 'truth' aka pravda) in Trump's favor... nothing learned? Either more than enough people will finally become disgusted and sick of this exceptional clown, hopefully as well as any excusers, or... well, extreme bad behavior gets rewarded yet again while most people suffer (and many blaming the wrong groups confused by internet and other b.s. and mud throwing). No matter how much you dislike deluxe bike lanes or 'Heather Has Two Mommies' in the school library, who really wants to live in a sad ass circus o' Trump? Coal miners?

I do most of my shopping and eating in New Canaan, CT, not exactly a coal miner’s town. Yet most people with whom I find myself in casual conversation turn out to be Trumf supporters.

Interesting. Biden won 65% of the vote in Fairfield County in 2020, and 59% in New Canaan.
