I think Adams would have been a great one even if he had been only an inker. I love his inks over Cockrum in GIANT-SIZE AVENGERS #2.

Kane/Adams was a very nice pairing the few times it happened.
I just saw a Kane cover a week or so back that was inked by someone you’d never think would be paired with him but for the life of me I can’t remember who it was or what the cover was.

Responding to Peter Martin's post re: Kyle Baker inks over JB's pencils: that is a beautiful piece of art -- made even more striking because it's presented in black and white. The heavy blacks almost give the drawings a washed out, photorealistic feel to it. Dramatic.
Myself, I've always loved the Brian Bolland/P. Craig Russel pairing in the "Heroes for Hope" one-shot. I'd have loved to have read an entire issue of the X-Men illustrated by these two.

On the Conan story in SAVAGE TALES? Good stuff!
I think my favorite inker for Kane was Wally Wood.

I recently bought the CAPTAIN ACTION HC. Not a character about which I care, but some sweet Kane/Wood art.

For years I wished Terry Austin had inked Gil Kane back in the 70's but thought it never happened. Then I found this.

Rich Buckler and Terry Austin. Surprised this combo didn't happen more.
