The copy I got had been shrink wrapped, so not wanting to "unwrap it" I bought a second copy on Kindle.

Got my copy today - Yay!

Packaged loose in a cardboard bag by Amazon UK, the bottom of the spine looks like it's been hit by Mjolnir. Argghh

Off for a replacement I go!

Mine wasn’t shrink wrapped, either, but it was at least packaged so that it
didn’t move around much in the box. Much.

Didn’t realize panels other than those Colossus panels/pages would be
changed.

Moi Aussi. :-( I feel your pain.

Am never ordering a book from Amazon again. They can only offer a refund, not a replacement, as they are sold out of 1st Editions.

On the one hand, it's great news demand is so high. On the other, it's frustrating having pre-ordered waaaaaaaaaaaay back, to have the book arrive damaged.

I shall have to treat it as a 'reading copy', which I guess is the whole point. I just like to look after my prized possessions (at least until I pop my clogs and lord knows where they will end up). ;-)

Mostly to tidy up the narrative a bit and make the whole thing work better as a unit.

The only one I really noticed was the panel where Amanda appeared was replaced with her kissing Kurt, instead. Probably because I really liked the original panel and tried to ink it myself!

I changed the Amanda panel to eliminate the witchcraft reference. Confusing to potential new readers, I thought.

There was one panel in the fifth issue/chapter, as well.

Finished it yesterday. Paul, you did a great job with your pages. I can only
imagine how you feel, man. Most of us had already seen Walt’s page but I
had never seen the Scott Williams pages. Wish we had more collaborations
between them over the years. A really nice pairing.

How was it decided which pages Paul would ink, JB?
