A Steranko Batman is pretty rare, but I wish it weren't!

What’s going on off-camera left that has those guys in the foreground distracted?

How come we never got THIS as a series?!  Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez drawing Doc Savage!
(Sorry it's a small file.)

Also impossible cape, even by Batman standards.

It's a weird piece, interesting but weird. The coloring also doesn't do it for me.

Wonder what year it's from.

Here's three Captain Americas (without the Avengers at least) you don't often see--Neal Adams, Jim Starlin, and Garcia-Lopez!

I know he's drawn everybody (via the Style Guide), but it's pretty rare (otherwise) to see a Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez Captain Marvel!

JB: What’s going on off-camera left that has those guys in the foreground distracted?

——-

RC: Also impossible cape, even by Batman standards.

•••

JB: That’s hardly an “also”. You point out what you think is a flaw. I merely pose a question. Steranko is too good an artist for the poses of those characters to be accidental.

ALSO, nothing wrong with the cape that I can see.
