She's one of the cringiest sub-Quayle intellects I've ever seen in politics.••• That kool-aid sure must be yummy.

There's much better evidence of Trump's limited intellectual capacities than a spelling error.
*****
Yeah, my entire point was that it was more than a spelling error.

In other alternate universe news, this turned up in my Instagram feed just a couple of hours after the announcement:
This is a young (and EXTREMELY talented) artist that I follow. Followed, that is - I regretfully had to finally unfollow them after this one.
I don't see a ton of this stuff because a) my social media platforms are pretty heavily en-bubbled, and b) Instagram and Facebook aren't really the places where that generation and that energy exist. Facebook is more where you go to see what your crazy aunt thinks Muslims are putting in her Corn Flakes; not where the New Weathermen trade state-smashing mottoes.
Realistically, this particular demographic could never have been won back - or even won in the first place. The rest of the coalition seems pretty energized, though.

And meanwhile, on Earth-C:
Text from the Lawler campaign that came through roughly the same time. They've been sending me 'Dems suck because they hate Israel' texts for the last few months, which I can only surmise is because I'm on a list of Jews in the lower Hudson Valley.
Mmm, lists of Jews. Fun fuckin' times.

Could be worse, Dave! Based on the mailers I get, I am on a list of Republicans—a condition I have not occupied in thirty years or more. It embarrasses me that those things show up in my mailbox!

Kamala Harris has been nicknamed Vice-President Word Salad based on a number of times that she didn't prove to be an eloquent speaker. Okay. Is that what makes the poster above consider her a dim bulb...? Anything else? Hmph.

What's funny about the Republican "DEI hire" taunts is that their idea of a better qualified white man is JD Vance, who has spent a mere 18 months gaining experience in public office.
Trump himself was only elected in the first place because of the electoral college, America's first affirmative action program, designed to promote disproportionate success for under-qualified white men.
Donald Trump was a DEI president.

Dream VP pick: Pete Buttigieg. A total badass. Smart as a whip and the best snap back commenter out there. Military vet. Current Transportation Sec. Current Michigan resident.
Can America deal with a gay VP? Sad that it’s even a question.
My governor, Big Gretch, Gretchen Witmer has already turned down the opportunity. And I want Pete to be Governor of Michigan after her.
My realistic pick is Mark Kelly. Former astronaut. Veteran. Arizona Senator. A genuine hero married to a genuine hero. I want to see him bring Gabby Giffords out onto the stage to totally counter Trump’s fake shooting victim routine. I want JD Vance to try his BS with Kelly in a debate. Gabby and Mark have had their journey with IVF. I want Kelly to gut Vance and his Handmaids Tale mentality.
Let’s go Kamala!
LFG!

Indeed. I hate to be skeptical that it can. I also doubt that this is the right time for a Jewish VP candidate, even with every plus that Josh Shapiro brings.
