I really like this recent line of DC collected editions.
1-What does the rest of the board think?
2-What JB work would board members like to see in this format?
3-JB, have you seen this format, and what work of yours would you like to see in it?  Thanks.

I’ve never heard of this format. What is it?

Books like the original Watchmen in a 10 dollar format.  Bigger than a digest, smaller than a trade.  So far, books like Batman Hush, The Long Halloween, All-Star Superman and many others have been put out, more to continue.  Marvel has stated that they will be exploring the format.

I have ALL-STAR SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE.
There's a Catwoman volume that collects stuff by Darwyn
Cooke and Ed Brubaker that I've been eyeing.

A couple of things I missed that I’d love to pick up - the Morrison/Paquette Wonder Woman and that N. K. Jemisin Green Lantern. Neither seem like the art would suffer from such a reduction.  My concern would be whether these 53-year-old eyes could read the smaller lettering!  I bought the Moonshadow edition a couple of years back and it was impossible to decipher the copy - though the lettering was deliberately stylized and thin so that could have had an impact unique to that book.

Hell, I’ve been getting everything in bigger, Omnibus formats for the last
couple of years. These old eyes can’t handle everything getting smaller!

DC's Compact format is 8.5x5.5 inches.

Marvel's version will be 9x6 inches and will sell for $15.

My sentiments exactly - bigger is better!

Marvel already uses that format for the latest incarnation of its Marvel Masterworks books.

I'm never in favor of reducing comics beyond the size they were intended to be.
