My kids really like the facsimile editions of older comic books. I got my son the facsimile edition of X-Men 142 and he started reading the first page. 
“2013–THE REMNANTS OF THAT SELF-SAME TEAM OF MUTANT SUPER-HEROES FIGHT FOR THEIR LIVES...”
My son read that and immediately said, “Thanks, Obama!”

2013, the dystopian future :)

2013 seemed so far away we could not imagine anyone reading the story 11 years after!!
