STUCK RUBBER BABY by the late Howard Cruse is a fantastic
book. It tells the story of a young man in the South coming
of age during the Civil Rights era and wrestling with the
question of his own sexuality. I found it to be a moving
and impressive piece of work that I rarely see mentioned in
discussions like this.

Don't know if anyone remembered but Wolfman & Pérez's New Teen Titans: Games (2011) was a planned "original graphic novel"... a story completed over a span of twenty years due to various issues. (Still impressed that Pérez never gave up on the project!)

I remember anxiously awaiting for the book to be released... and as usually I wasn't disappointed. Pérez was at his best here.

That’s one I’ve meant to get since it was released but for whatever reason
just never have.
