I came across this on Facebook over the weekend. Always satisying to come across JB art for st the first time after all these years!
Given the other artists included (especially Miller/Janson clearly in their DARK NIGHT phase), I'd place this around 1986. Honestly if it weren't for the signature and other vintage of the other pieces, I would have mistaken JB's piece as very early Walt Simonson - those crazy slick curved lines were his trademark back then.

I don’t recognize the characters or the upper right signature.

And JB’s signature is all wrong for ‘86. I’d say late 70s for that one.

Very cool, love seeing stuff like this surface!
Late ‘70s might preclude Truman & Adams, and the “6” in the corner might literally agree with the 1986 timeline. I also don’t know the character, but wonder why Truman went with a more Zorro cordovan than the bowlers—all very interesting!

Honestly, doesn’t look like my work—or any of the others named.

They all look like they are using the same, or nearly the same pen for the linework.
Could this be someone playing at copying these artist's 'styles'.

Y'know, I didn't consider that it may be false, but I should have. Like Brian said, the signature looks off. Plus, the only part of it that I would have identified was JB was that bit of shading on the collar. That's not a John Byrne Eye, either.

Ok, I feel better because I didn't recognize the character either. Looks like a Scott Shaw! creation.
